Agriculture is the backbone of Giyani's economy. The Agency supports smallholder farmers and agri-enterprises from production through to market.
Programme activities
- Support for crop and livestock production — inputs, mechanisation and extension.
- Agro-processing initiatives that add value locally before produce leaves Giyani.
- Market access programmes connecting farmers to formal buyers.
- Training in climate-smart and water-wise farming for our region.
Farmers and agri-businesses can register on the skills database (specialization: Agriculture & Agro-processing) or as vendors to supply Agency projects.
