Skills Development
Projects need hands, and hands need skills. The Agency's skills development programme trains the people of Giyani for the work that Giyani's development creates.
Programme activities
- Artisan training — bricklaying, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and welding.
- SETA-accredited learnerships and short courses.
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for experienced workers without formal certificates.
- Training planned from the demand recorded in the skills database.
Every Agency infrastructure and housing project carries a training quota — so the projects we build also build our people.
